Netflix Search Bar (Redesign)
Project Background and Summary
The project aims to enhance Netflix’s search functionality to better serve users looking for both specific content and those who wish to explore the platform. Based on user feedback and survey data, three main enhancements were identified to improve the search experience and overall usability.
Main Enhancements
Advanced Filtering Options: Users expressed a strong need for more filters to narrow down search results by criteria such as genre, release year, language, and actor. This feature addresses frustration with irrelevant search results and allows users to refine their searches, making it easier to find both popular and lesser-known content.
Improved Predictive Suggestions and Auto-Complete: Predictive search results were found to be often inaccurate or irrelevant. By enhancing predictive suggestions and improving handling of typos, the system can better match user intent, reducing time spent searching and improving satisfaction for users who are typing quickly or with partial information.
User Customization for Content Discovery: For users exploring Netflix without a specific title in mind, customization features like thumbs up/down on recommendations were introduced. This allows Netflix to learn user preferences over time, enhancing content discovery and offering a more personalized browsing experience.
Project Goal
The goal of these enhancements is twofold: to make Netflix’s search experience more effective for users with specific content in mind, while also enriching the experience for those who are simply exploring. By supporting both targeted searches and open-ended browsing, the improved search function aims to create a more satisfying and engaging user experience on the platform.
Tools Used: Figma, Procreate, & Peer Survey
My Final Prototype Using Figma

Created the name, logo, tagline, and social media for a home-made pastry business. I now continue to be in charge of the social media for the family business.
Seasonal Logo Ideas
ROOTS
Roots.com is a website I made for a project where the objective was to create a website from scratch using HTML, CSS, And JavaScript. I chose to go with a cooking website catered to the non-professional cooks (your average person). After I had my concept, I created a logo. Using the logo colors, I started my mood board and eventually built the website.
Monena's Love
Monena’s love is the jewelry brand that I created inspired by my great-grandmother. Her love for jewelry and jewelry making has been passed down. She still makes jewelry to this day and it is something that keeps me connected to her.
Using artwork from Canva, I was able to make this logo for my Etsy jewelry shop and am looking forward to further developing the brand to have its website down the line.
Workout Buddy
This was a designed created by my classmates and I. This app was targeted to everyone that is interested in they physical health.
The images shows below are the wireframes and prototypes I made with the feedback from my team.
This was all a group effort and one that we are all very proud of.
